Checking in

I know I haven't been posting much lately. Just really hasn't been a lot to tell - which I think is a good thing. I have picked up a couple of freelance jobs and what money I earn is going into savings to be used for an "extra" - maybe a family vacation next year. I know it could be used to pay off debt, but we've made the decision to keep it separate. Freelance work could dry up at any moment, so we don't want to get used to having it. We'll continue budgeting from DH's pay. Anyway, between that and catching up on DS's medical appointments while there is a bit more time in the summer schedule, time has been flying by!

Happy belated Fourth to all!

Sarah

  1. Time is flying very quickly, isn't it? I haven't posted for a while either. I like that you are putting away your freelance money for something fun. You need to plan fun into your life!

    1. Well, I have to disagree with you - because if I had that amount of debt, EVERY CENT would be going towards paying it off ASAP. If it meant no vacation, so be it. Quite honestly, you CANNOT afford to take a vacation - pay off your debt first!

  2. I am new to your site, so hopefully I get to see one of your hot new blog posts soon.

On the topic of freelance work, we offer generous compensation payout packages for anyone who refers us clients.

We have an A+ BBB rated debt relief program, student loan help options and small business loans available.

If you refer us clients for any of the above and they get approved with us, we pay out a commission to you.

Anyways, I heard really awesome things about your blog from a few of my associates in our marketing department. They enjoy your writing and told me that your blog posts are the definition of qualify writing.

Do you have any older posts that you would recommend I read?

Also, we would love to have you as a guest contributing editor so that you can share some of your content with our community, bringing new members to your site also.

Our sites are goldenfs.org and nomorecreditcards.com

Nice to meet you Sharon and I hope to hear back from you!

  3. That’s a good news! At least you can have extra money you can use for other things. About your debt, your idea of having separate source of payment for it is a good idea. However, make sure that you meet the deadline of payment so there will be no interest to pay, if there is any. I hope you get out of debt sooner. @ Paddon + Yorke

  5. Glad to hear that you're keeping a separate source of income so you can spend some cash around for leisure! In addition, that could, at least, also help you with your daily needs so you could pay off your debt faster. And if there are emergencies, you'll have money to use for it. Anyway, you can always get cash loans for emergency purposes, if ever you don’t have funds. @ Sunset Payday
